"Hey steps up to the plate with Watershed, his debut recording as a leader. Considering the quality of his sideman appearances, it comes as no surprise when Hey points to the bleachers and quite casually belts one out of the park. . . Hey is a soloist of rare percetption and imagination" - Alexander M. Stern - All About Jazz

"With his impressive debut record, keyboardist Henry Hey . . .pares things down to a straightforward piano trio that shows off his abilities as a composer, performer and leader. . . Watershed is a significant recording." - Jazz Review.com

"They tackle edgy, angular improvisations with assurance and elan. There is a powerful three way communication. . . that shocases the empathy between the individuals" - Paul Donnelly - UK
